On Saturday, 200 monarch butterflies were released at the Deer Lake gazebo to remember and honour loved ones. "Butterfly Blessings" is a fundraising initiative started last year in memory of Victoria Legge and as grown to become a community event.

The tsetse fly is the main vector for Human African Trypanosomiasis (aka sleeping sickness), and spreads the disease by biting humans or animals.
